We had a great stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was nice to look out the windows and see the woods and moss-covered rocks.

Our stay could not have been better! My mother and I met for a girls’ weekend and as perfect as David’s place seemed online, it more than lived up in person. In fact, we both remarked “I could live here.” From the large, luxurious shower to the super comfy sectional couch, we could have spent the whole weekend lounging. Being in such close proximity to shops and restaurants though, we did venture out. Antiquing in Brunswick, a beer at Mast Landing Brewing, dinner at Tuscan Bistro (a David rec) all so close by! It was a chilly, rainy weekend so putting the kettle on when we got back was great and David even sent me a quick note that he had spread some ice melt on the steps for us and left the jug in case we needed more. A great place I would definitely stay at anytime.

Had a great two-day stay at David and Cheryl's place. It rained our entire stay and the cottage was a nice haven. Good trails nearby to walk our dog, and we loved being close to Wolfe's Neck and Maine Beer Company.

This little cottage was awesome and exactly what we were looking for when planning our trip to the Freeport area. It made for a great home base to explore the local towns and state parks!
