We had a great visit to Galway for a girl’s trip. After 10 days of travel, the washer/dryer situation was ideal. Great location (but don’t trust Google or Apple Maps).

Loved Martins home. The only thing for us was we needed silverware. There were 6 of us and only a few forks and a couple spoons. The home was very comfortable. The beds all comfortable. No heat in the master bedroom, but we used the e tea blanket and did fine. Two of our friends left and stayed in a hotel. The one bathroom wasn’t working for them, but for the other four of us, it worked fine. We had my 85 year old father with us and he did great going up and down the stairs. My family owned the Darcy Bar in the 1800 and early 1900’s. It was only three blocks away and that made my dad so happy! Everything is super close by. The best part is it’s quiet at night because you are a block away from the noisy area. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home!

Martin was very flexible & accommodating to our request to check-in early to drop our bags off. The house is located in a great spot - walkable to downtown, coffee shops, the train station! The house is beautiful & as advertised. The only thing that was a little tricky for us was that we did not have an instruction book & had some difficulty getting the stove & TV to work. It wasn't a huge deal - as we weren't spending much time in the house but it would have been helpful to have some sort of manual with how things worked in the house. Also, there was no laundry detergent available to do laundry. Overall, great location & place to stay!

Great place to stay in Galway. Walkable to the city surrounded by fantastic restaurants and pubs. Quiet location.
