This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location. The nighttime sky with all the stars is amazing from the hot tub. This location is only 40 minutes from our house but when we need a break from the hustle and bustle that is life, this property is ideal.

We loved the back deck. Very peaceful with the creek running by down below. The birds and wildflowers were out for spring as well. Easy to check in and out. Had everything we needed as a group. The hot tub was a bonus for the cool spring front that came through! Only thing we couldn’t find was a sponge or brush to hand wash some of the bigger dishes with so improvised with a dish towel.

The house was an older home but was comfortable and cozy, and Larry was very responsive to phone calls and questions. I was a little disappointed in the overall cleanliness/appearance of the house and deck area. The hot tub had sediment in the bottom, and all the deck furniture was dirty. I spot cleaned the carpet in the bunk room and cleaned the detergent dispenser in the washer which had black mold in it. In Larry's defense, I believe these things should have been brought to his attention by the cleaning crew. We did enjoy our stay. It was peaceful and in a rural setting, but also only about 5 minutes from a grocery store and town.
