Fantastic place to go. Great location. Very peaceful and yet a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Stonehaven and great hosts. I had the suite and it comes with your own sitting room with a fire and full coffee and tea making facilities with some nice touches such as a cafetiere for folk like me that don't do dried coffee! Karen puts on a great spread for breakfast and the kitchen is available for the guests. The bedroom was large with french doors opening onto the back garden which is available to the person on the suite. Lovely setting. The bedrooms en-suite was also big with a nice bathtub and separate shower. Karen and John are both lovely people and this is a place i will or sure return in the fuutre. I was in the area on business and will return.

Was there on business. Karen and John were excellent hosts. I felt really at home n the space i had. I had the suite with the large bedroom, my own sitting room and large en suite with both a bath and a shower. There were french doors form the bedroom onto the back garden which was a nice touch. The kitchen was large and Karen laid on a great breakfast. She has thought of everything and in the sitting groom which goes with the Suite room there are excellent tea and coffee facilities, a small fridge and a lovely looking fireplace. All belonging to the Suite room only. The location was just what i needed, quiet in a nice woodland setting but still only a 15 minute walk to the center of Stonehaven , straight down the hill. All in all a great place, nice people, and i will return there when in the area

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Wat een lieve, fijne mensen, wat een mooi gedecoreerd huis en wat een fantastisch ontbijt!! Zeer aan te bevelen!

We love, love, love Karen’s place! Karen and John went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Everything was perfect!! Thank you some much for accommodating our crazy family. We will be back to our home away from home. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
