Glamaig room is an en suite double room with access to a minifridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Breakfast is provided daily and many guests have used the facilities to self-cater for an evening meal. The room is quite compact but this is reflected in the price. The Old Manse is a traditional stone house dating from the 19th century overlooking Loch Greshornish. The guest area features 2 rooms with a dedicated entrance. There is free car parking and guests may use our kayaks free of charge. The room features a comfy double bed and en-suite shower room with toilet and hand basin. There is a folding table and chairs which some guests use for breakfast. The shower room has a powerful shower and a wall basket with complimentary toiletries. The room has a TV fitted with an Amazon Firestick. Due to work commitments we are unable to serve a cooked breakfast but do provide breakfast items with cereals, breads, yogurt and fruit for guests to help themselves. Tea and coffee are also provided on arrival. The space between the two guest rooms features a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave and many guests prefer to self cater for part of their stay. There is a patio with a picnic table at the guest entrance perfect for watching the stunning sunsets. A footpath leads down to the peaceful shoreline where seals, otters, roe deer, oyster catchers and other wildlife can regularly be seen. We have 2 kayaks down at the shore which guests who are experienced kayakers may borrow free of charge. Just ask for paddles and buoyancy aids which we keep in the house. Please be aware that this is entirely at your own risk and we do not provide tuition or supervision. The guest area is completely self contained but bear in mind that the rest of the property is our family home and with the age of the property some creaks may be heard from upstairs particularly on schooldays.
