Laura was our main contact point and she made sure we had all we needed. This made our stay completely hassle free and very relaxing.
We had the most wonderful stay in Ramelton. Such a beautiful and friendly town. The Blue Goat is right by the house and has really good coffee and treats. Patrick and Laura could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The house and the views are gorgeous. We saw herons and a seal in the water just ouside the house. The whole trip home we talked about how we need to plan to go back.
Lovely place right on the waterfront in a great location. Quiet enough for a great sleep and very close to so much. Would happily return and hopefully will. Host was very communicative and some nice touches on arrival. It's a really cool spot.
Ramelton is a lively riverside village with excellent restaurants and delis and interesting local pubs where you can often hear the superb local musicians playing. It is a well preserved Georgian town in a beautiful setting. Located on the estuary where the River Lennon enters Lough Swilly, it is a bird watchers paradise with wild fowl both rare and common. From your balcony you will see seals, otters and watch wild salmon making their way upriver to their spawning grounds as well as the incredible birdlife . It is surrounded by beaches, mountains and lakes and is ideal for the walker and cyclist
