Although you are surrounded by dining out options, if you prefer eating in you can make use of the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher. All 3 bedrooms are appointed with ceiling fans, with the master bedroom also boasting its own ensuite bathroom and lake views! In the main bathroom you’ll find a separate shower and bath, to make washing off the sand and sea a breeze! Featuring a laundry with washing machine and single lockup garage, this apartment offers absolute convenience for holiday makers. ** Please note, this unit is accessible by stairs only, there is no lift access. My family and I enjoyed this unit. It’s a great location and the kitchen is well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable with full linen. We would stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shoreline 8 over the ANZAC day weekend. Instructions were clear & all communication proactive, with flexible after hours check-in. Location is 5 star lake front with no traffic/road obstructions. We enjoyed the full moon over the lake at night and watching local fisherman & lake traffic by day. Great walking paths down to Rockpool beach/playground/cafe. Great coffee at the Rockpool Cafe. Kids enjoyed fishing from our doorstep and there’s a fantastic fish and chip shop minutes walk away in case the fish get away 😉 We enjoyed being on the Tuncurry side of the lake where it’s a bit quieter than the Forster side of the lake, but all amenities are still very accessible. Older style walk up building as described. The apartment is very clean & nicely furnished with a well equiped kitchen. Highly recommend.
The photos don't do this place justice. Located in a private cul-de-sac on the waters edge, the spacious unit overlooks the whole of the Forster lakes and breakwall - we even spotted pods of dolphins from the balcony. It's on the top floor and is beautifully decorated with modern furniture and was very clean and well maintained. We stayed with another couple, but would also suit a family as the apartment is decked out with everything you could possibly need. The easy parking, quiet location and stunning views have just made this our new go-to place to stay in Forster/Tuncurry, we loved it.

Tuncurry is the sister town of Forster, divided only by a dual vehicle & pedestrian bridge, and it sure has equal amounts to offer!
Watch the waves roll in at the stunning break wall, take a dip in the netted Tuncurry Rock Pools or stunning Wallis Lake, or enjoy awesome surfing breaks at Tuncurry Beach (aka Nine Mile Beach). Try your luck at fishing with an abundance of opportunities to choose from - whether it be from the break wall, one of many wharves surrounding the lake or by joining a fishing charter, Tuncurry is a fishing fanatics paradise.
When it comes to activities on land, there’s an award-winning golf course, a cinema and a museum. For the kids and kids at heart, enjoy the recently built Water Playground at Vincent Fazio Park, or take the short 15 minute drive to the Big Buzz Fun Park to enjoy the thrill if a toboggan ride, speed karts, laser tag and water slides!
Treat yourself to some incredible culinary options at the delicious cafes, chic bars & wonderful restaurants along the buzzing Manning Street precinct. Enjoy waterfront cocktails and modern Australian meals at Thirty Three Degrees or The Deck @ Tuncurry, both overlooking the pristine Wallis Lake.
If you manage to exhaust all of that, you can take the scenic stroll over the 700m bridge to Forster!
