A great place to stay- lovely lakefront property with beautiful views throughout the house and lots of space for two families (and dog!) . Everything was clean and beds were very comfortable.
We were delighted with our stay. Even in March, it was an excellent stay. Hosts were very attentive, nothing to complain about.
This cottage was a beautiful retreat! My partner, dog and I had an amazing time. Very private and lots of nature to explore! The place was clean and tidy and offered plenty to do. The hot tub was fantastic and we can’t wait to return in the summer months! Also I’d like to add that Greg and his team were attentive and very kind. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We had a great 2 night stay while skiing at Calabogie. The interior was as beautiful as the pictures. The house was very clean, and inviting, with shelves and cupboards that were stocked with everything you could ever need. The view of the lake from the living room and bedrooms was picturesque. We had 6 people in our group and there was more than enough space with beds and a bedroom to spare. The host clearly cares about your experience and has thought of most everything you will need. The location is a bit remote, about 20 minutes from the nearest store as far as we could tell, but that was fine by us. It was very quiet, and we didn't want to leave. The one thing I would be careful of, is you should park by the garage instead of down the hill, if the driveway is all ice. We have a minivan with snowtires and had to use the sand and salt there to get out of the driveway. No big deal, just check it out before you pull down and it won't be a problem. Thanks to the hosts!!!
Eleven of us went to enjoy the New Year 2024 in this amazing location. There was plenty of room for everyone, beds were super comfortable and there was extra blankets and plenty of towels. This rental was beautiful, comfy and clean. Everyone truly enjoyed the place and we would highly recommend it. My only advice would be to familiarize yourself with the garbage disposal site schedule based on your departure since the closest place is only open on Thursdays and Sundays and could get tricky if you miss that window.

The aim is to share Pôr do Sol with those who are looking for a great waterfront oasis a short drive away from the city. No matter the season, Pôr do Sol will offer luxury amenities in serene and beautiful surroundings. This great space is to be enjoyed with family and friends of up to 12 people.
