We had a very enjoyable time staying in Lilans apartment- what was great, was the quietness at night for a decent sleep. It is a very friendly and safe neighbourhood, close to a metro that connects with most lines. Lilan is very responsive and easy to communicate with

The apartment is good, clean and fully equipped. There is a staircase to go down to the bedroom and bathroom. The location is good as it is next to the Charone metro station. There are nearby markets, restaurants and coffee makers. Walking about 15-20 minutes you will reach Place de la Bastile.

Very nice place, Lilan was a very helpful and experienced host. I was in Paris to work so this was the perfect set up for me with super fast broadband and very comfortable working spaces. The fact that the bedroom is in the basement also helped to keep it cool as French buildings do not typically have air conditioning. Recommend to keep the small window above the door open as much as possible.

The place, while conveniently located, could have shown clearly on AB&B pictures that it was a basement, it was challenging to get down. The basement was dirty and downright humid, with a terrible smell. Both my sister and I got sick because of the unsafe humidity downstairs. The garbage cans were filled with garbage, and the bathroom was dirty (hairs were in the shower). The apartment, while architectural speaking, is a jewel, needs to be better maintained. The basement did not have the projector in working condition. In taking a shower and taking all the precautions mentioned, the water gets out, contributing to the damp, humid smell that gets inside because it does not have a window and the fans inside are not enough to get good ventilation. The environment gets stuffy and challenging to breathe. I will not want to publish this comment. Instead, it is a warning paragraph you can take care of these issues before somebody else complains or gets sick because of the unhealthy conditions
