Millicent the host, gave me a very hard time. I was asked for ids of everyone that was staying, which is odd, but I sent the ids and Millicent took a while to respond. Then when Millicent finally did respond 12 minutes later, it was saying they need an id that’s not expired. I finally found my updated id and send the picture of it 33 minutes later. I then looked at the time and told Millicent that It was now 2 hours after check in and I still had no code to get inside the air bnb. I was toldI would get an extension at checkout for time lost (which was a lie) . Then the airbnb support reached out and said that Millicent wanted to cancel the reservation because it took me 2-3 hours to send my id after they asked (which is also a lie)! I was asked to send the ids at 3:13 pm. I sent the first one at 3:16pm and sent the last one by 4:37. That was 1 hour and 34 minutes. So I was very disappointed to find out that my reservation was cancelled and also that the host was lying about the issue

We had asked that the living room sofa bed be made up with clean sheets and a blanket as a guest would need to sleep on it. When we were given access to the unit about 15 minutes early, which we appreciated, the sofa bed was not yet made up, the dirty laundry from the previous renters was still in bags inside by the front entry door, and there were no extra toilet paper rolls in the unit in any of the bathrooms or laundry room. I don't believe this was due to our being admitted 15 minutes early... About 3 calls were made to the host, who was responsive to each call after our entry to the unit, but it took about 3 hours after our 2:45pm check-in to get the clean sheets and toilet paper for our stay. Extra bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths, paper towels and trash bags were in the laundry room for our use, however!! After this initial glitch with the sofa bed sheets and TP, we truly enjoyed our stay...it is an easy walk to the beach, nice and quiet neighborhood, the kitchen was very well stocked with all amenities needed to cook large meals. A bag of coffee and filters were available, herbs and spices, aluminum foil and aluminum pans/lids were also available for use. Cleaning supplies were available under the sink, etc. The kitchen table was large enough with enough chairs for our group of 7 to eat together and also play games. TIP: look in the cabinet behind the sofa: it contains some nice, large glass bowels and other cooking amenities as well as those in the kitchen cabinets. I slept in the bedroom with the king bed and thought the bed was very comfortable...one couple thought their bed sagged in the middle...other couple thought their bed was comfortable. All bedrooms had night stands, dressers and plenty of closet space. The bathrooms were very modern and had 3-in-1 soaps in showers and at the sinks. I would suggest having some lighter weight blankets available, as the comforters are extremely warm when in use, and you were either too hot with comforter on, or too cold with just the sheet. Just our opinion. The living room sofa wasn't so comfortable to sit on, let alone sleep on even with the folding Styrofoam sheet to put under the mattress. We brought an inflatable mattress for our 7th person to sleep on instead of the sofa bed, so they were comfortable with the sheets provided by the host. 'Nicer' restaurants are non existent in the immediate area...not even in Portage, that we could find, but the Flamingo Restaurant (pizza and other selections) about 3-4 blocks away from our rental had adequate bar food and drinks. A beach cafe was across the street from the Flamingo, but we didn't have a chance to eat there as we cooked in most of the time. Again, we truly enjoyed the townhouse and all of the amenities it provided. It served our needs of being close to the beach, which wasn't crowded, and we had access to a very nice park and were about 15 minutes away from a disc golf course in Hobart. The disc golf course at Marquette Park removed the baskets a year or so ago, so it was not available for use. I would rent this unit again if I have another large gathering of family in the future, and we just want to spend most of our time at the beach and cook in.

We arrived about 6mins early and was told it's not quit 3 o'clock yet we had to wait for them to walk to the Airbnb to let us in which was fine. When we entered the property it was gorgeous from top to bottom very neat and clean. However When went to the beach came back that night went to bed woke up the next morning to find out that the toilet from the mater bedroom was leaking water through the ceiling above the refrigerator through the fixture. We notified them we was told they would see if they could come and fix it so let them know when we are leaving the house, but before we could leave the house I received a message saying that the man they have to fix it couldn't make it to fix it til Sunday on the day we have to check out at 10am. When asked if we can get a late check out to compensate for the problem we was told no late check out this time they have someone coming right in after us and they need time to clean. Not only did we not get compensating in any kinda way for the toilet leaking I also received a text message at 7 something in the morning reminding us check out is at 10am the cleaners will be there at that time so can we please be out at that time that has never happened before we didn't like that at all.
