The 650-acre lake connects to North Twin Lake (2,700 acres) - known for its great fishing, as well as water skiing and tubing. Scott’s Twin Lake Resort features amazing amenities including a clear sandy beach that is perfect for swimming, four brand-new piers for fishing or tying off boats, grill and picnic areas, plus a firepit for roasting s’mores under the stars. You’ll love being located mere moments from a local pub and within easy driving distance to restaurants and family-friendly attractions like mini-golf, horseback rides, go-karts, and bumper car boats. Your log cabin is a delight to return home to after a full day of adventure. Prepare favorite dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, then gather for special meals at the adjacent dining table. Unwind on comfortable furniture and watch TV, or peruse a collection of board games and challenge your crew to a game night. <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> A double futon offers extra sleeping space. Full kitchen (no dishwasher). This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer or air conditioning. This property is managed by Vacasa Wisconsin LLC. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Location was beautiful - easy to find and room for cars and trailer parking. Could use some additional kitchen items such as pans and utensils and basic seasonings like salt & pepper for cooking. Didn't have hot water but then realized water heater had been turned way down - easy fix. Enjoyed the screened porch for eating and beautiful view of the lake. Closer to Lake than we expected - was a nice surprise. Boat launch very close with good access.
The cabin on the lake was perfect for our family of 6. The size of the screened in porch was a pleasant surprise. The only thing the description said there was a sandy beach but we didn't see one. However the water off the pier and from the shore did have a sandy bottom and the kids did get to swim there. We want to recommend this cabin and thank the host for letting us stay there.
We never got the opportunity to stay at this cabin, though I'm sure it would have been very nice. We were notified that it had a furnace issue and we couldn't stay there since there was no guarantee when it could be fixed, and with a heavy frost forecasted for that night. we stayed at a different cabin last year at Scotts Resort and it was wonderful. Excellent location. We were offered a trailer home on the nearby lake that wasn't available, which wouldn't have worked since we came to kayak on South Twin lake. we chose a house on the south end that turned out to also be a mistake, as we started noticing signs of water damage and active mold.
