Cara and Jeff’s cabin is gorgeous! There’s nothing but nature, peace and beauty all around. The cabin is super comfortable, clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. Thanks, Cara and Jeff!

Where to start?! It was perfect for our vacation which consisted of 3 families. 6 adults and and 5 kids, all girls ranging 5-13 years old. The property is beautiful, and the cabin hits all those northwoods lodge feels. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of linens and towels, and lots and lots of outdoor spaces to explore. The kayaks were fun to use, especially in the backwaters of the property. Jeff and Cara were friendly and provided excellent communication, including helpful tips and suggestions. We felt very welcome at their property. The beds were comfortable and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. You'll find lots of games and activities if you have a rainy day or weather that keeps you indoors. The lake water is rusty, but for the most part you'll only find sandy bottom. Exploring the big lake was a definite highlight. We rented a pontoon and brought a boat for fishing and tubing. Don't forget a hammock! In all, this property is a true treasure! You won't be sorry.

Fantastic set-up. Gorgeous lodge with stone fireplace, huge screen porch, multiple docks, kayaks/canoes, great northwoods' interior furnishes, and Moose Lake!

This home is a true getaway with a spacious, private and well maintained home. The wood fire pit was used daily and the wood fire hot tub was an unexpected surprise. The home had a decent view of the lake but could be enhanced by cleaning up some underbrush and thinning out trees for better line sights. The grounds were well maintained with nice paths to the two usable docks on the property. Renting a pontoon on the lake was an added bonus. A treasure that was thoroughly enjoyed by the family. We were fortunate to have cool weather during our stay even though it was the third week of July. Therefore not sure how comfortable it would be during a heat wave considering there was no conditioned air. However, there was enough shade that I think would help with keeping it cooler during hotter weather.

Cara and Jeff are wonderful caretakers of the woods and ponds that surround this historic cabin. We so appreciate that they are maintaining the distinctive character of the cabin, while providing modern conveniences. An unequaled north woods experience.
