Outgoing, Swiss-American, our family owned a chalet in Verbier, Switzerland for many years... thus, Bev's a well-traveled woman with an avid golfing husband and 2 small dogs. They retired and moved here as one of our grandchildren was studying at Clemson & others live & work in the area. We're friendly folks, love to cook, garden & golf...Several years ago, we ran the Pennsbury Inn, Chadds Ford, Pa, and got the "B&B bug"which led us into now having the Picket Fence B&B, where we serve hearty country breakfasts, or the lighter continental fare, guest's choice! For visiting golfers, Dick will be happy to arrange for your tee time, or if you'd like he'll possibly join you as we're merely 2 miles to great golf at BROOKSTONE MEADOWS GOLF CLUB ! If you're a business traveler, over nights here is most convenient, as one could easily jog to BOSCH only 2 miles down the road from us! OR are you here going to a football game at CLEMSON U., well you made a super choice to stay here, as it's only a 20 minute drive! If you're flying to this area for work, we hope you'll arrive at the beautiful GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT- it's less than 30 mins from our B&B! - compared to most airports in the U.S.A. you'll be amazed to see less travelers/confusion than is the norm at others...You'll find that BMW &. MICHELIN corporations are in the airport vicinity, and commuting from this area, to us in the quiet open countryside, is a piece of cake, on I-85... You'll arrive just in time to share in our "Happy Hour" before heading out to dinner at nearby SULLIVAN'S METROPOLITAN GRILL located at our neighborhood golf club!
