Extremely sweet couple. Even with a language barrier (us both speaking broken versions of the other’s native language) they were extremely helpful and informative. We used a translator when needed. The sounds of the waves are therapeutic. The house is clean and quiet.

With 2 or more people it is a great deal. Dinner was very good, and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

Tita and Gustavo are an adorable retired couple who rent out the upstairs apartment in their spacious home in Jaimanitas. Their house is a beautiful oasis right on the ocean/ bay about 20 mins west of downtown Havana. They couldn't figure out why we wanted to go snorkeling in the somewhat busy bay in front of their house at 7am in the "winter" lol... Even though the little neighborhood kids and fishermen were doing it looking for bait for their next fishing trip. Gustavo charged us 10 dollars to drive to the nearby Fusterlandia and to a local Particular restaurant. Gustavo gave the owner his phone number and had her call him when we were ready to go home. Very sweet ☺️ Breakfast was served upstairs on the patio overlooking the ocean and was 10 dollars a person and our ride to the airport was another 30 but you get what you pay for and the service and food was delicious! A great way end our experience in Havana.
