Great beachfront location! Very nice pool and private area! Kitchen was equipped well and we really appreciated them furnishing the water, soaps and tissues! Great security on site as well! We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at the sun suite at Casa Chanty. Cristina (and Alberto, the on-site manager) are fantastic hosts - incredibly responsive and helpful - and the beach is almost more beautiful than the photos suggest. Beds were super comfortable and the place is very clean, well stocked, and there’s plenty of hot water. A couple things to know in advance to set expectations: the front bedroom with glass doors has no screens so you can’t leave them open at night - a bit of a bummer as we wanted to leave them open to hear the ocean, but Christina explained the wind makes it hard to keep screens. Also, In the downstairs unit you will hear the upstairs neighbors - the first night we were there the folks upstairs were very loud and that was frustrating - but Alberto intervened and it got better. Overall, a wonderful experience.

The outdoor area is as pictured, and our family thoroughly enjoyed the beach, pool and outdoor lounge areas. The home had boogie boards and water toys which we loved too! Outdoor space is shared w guests in upstairs unit. However, this Airbnb is not comparable to a hotel stay. Inside, the living space is limited, furnishings dated, and the bedrooms and bathrooms somewhat uncomfortable for a 6 day stay. Bedroom 1 was small, with the AC unit turning on/off sporadically. Bedroom 2 had a nice patio area, but was extremely hot. Bedroom 3 is spacious but the bed was so uncomfortable that it impacted our sleep quality. All bathrooms are small, plumbing in need of upgrades, and had a grimy feel. The kitchen was well appointed, but the ventilation in the home is not great, so any cooking smells were pervasive even with all doors open. There were cats frequently around the property and some of our party has allergies, so this made us uncomfortable. WiFi was spotty/inconsistent at best.

El lugar es hermoso, playa privada para los que se alojen, perfecto para un plan familiar. Es importante mencionar que no circulan los uber, la única manera de moverse es en taxi o en bus. Los taxis rondan los $36.00 dólares a $40.00 por si deseas ir a Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen o los parques de atracciones. Cristina estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros y la pasamos genial en la casa ya que por lluvia muchas actividades en el mar se cancelaron.
