Great little house located of the beaten path in Cedar Key. Close enough to everything but not in the middle of the busy part of the island so the down time is very peaceful. Super clean too.

Kylie made us feel right at home. The mattress was fantastic! Furnished perfectly. Loved the gas cooktop. Made me feel at home. We will definitely be coming back!

So much to say! Kylie was welcoming and friendly, helpful and stayed in contact. Jamie was easy to reach for any questions. The cottage was cozy and private and perfect for my needs. I especially appreciate the gas cook stove, the high quality kitchenware and utensils and the gas grill. I needed a retreat and peace for some deep work and a nutrition reset. Jamie’s place is perfect. Minimal to NO noise or light pollution. Quality local restaurants, abundant seafood, local art, hiking options and nature preserve sweeten the days. The private fenced yard, gorgeous old growth trees and beautiful landscaping kept it cool and lovely. Not a Spring Break hotspot and I hope it will never be!

Jamie and Kylie were terrific. They went above and beyond for us. A wonderful getaway. A nice and peaceful place to stay yet easy access to everything in Cedar Key. I highly recommend Hawthorne Hideaway. I look forward to our next trip to Cedar Key and another stay at the Hideaway. Thank you Jamie and Kylie!

This is a delightful place to stay for a few days. Both the property and the area. We loved the cottage, big comfy bed, all the equipment you would ever need. Lots of thoughtful decorations. Hidden in the trees so it was cool and very peaceful. Easily walkable from the airfield, also into town. Lots to see in the area. All round great Air BnB with really friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommend.
