Entire 3.5-bedroom apartment (2nd floor without elevator) for 1-12 persons in the Bernese Old Town. Private bathroom and kitchen. 3 minute walk to Bern main train station, 2 minutes to the Swiss parliament and all major sights, 1 minute to shops, restaurants and the entire Bernese nightlife.. and at the same time only 5 minutes down to the river Aare or to Bern's Botanical Garden. * super-central location in the heart of the Bernese Old Town * the 3.5 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor (without elevator) of a historic building and has wood parquet flooring. Bedroom 1 has windows to the south towards the inner courtyard. The other two connected bedrooms 2 and 3 are facing north towards Speichergasse * The very sunny, bright bedroom 1 facing South has a 180cm king-sized bed and a daybed that can be transformed into a 160cm queen-sized bed. There is also a table (foldable) for up to 4 persons. With outside blinds the room can be darkened quite a bit (but not completely). * The two connected bedrooms 2+3 facing North towards Speichergasse are less quiet (traffic). In bedroom 2 there are two bunk beds (so these offer 4 sleeping places of 90x200cm, which are suitable for children or persons up to 100kg). In bedroom 3 right behind there is a 160cm queen-sized bed and two sofa-element which can be transformed into two 80x200cm single beds. * Kitchen and dining area: the combined kitchen-dining area has a stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, water kettle. Is also has a table and chairs for 4-8 persons. * WiFi, coffee and tea are included in the price of the apartment

Da wir am Montag übernachtet haben war es ruhig (da Club geschlossen war). Super Lage und wir waren dankbar, dass wir das Gepäck deponieren konnten um 13 Uhr. Würden wieder kommen.
The apartment is very well located in the city center, perfect to visit Bern. Space was as described, and very clean. Accessing the apartment was very easy with clear instructions. The host Kai provided a city guide and a map with city sightseeing route which we used and was perfect for the duration of our stay. The information provided for car parking in Bern was also very helpful.
We loved our staying!! Super clean, spacious and quiet place. The location is great, next to city center!! They have all you need for a quick or longer stay. Kitchen facilities were super convenient and everything is provided. The host is super friendly and helpful. Super recommended!!!
The location was definitely convenient. The floors are uneven, so please be aware of that if you or anybody in your party has mobility issues. It also does get a little bit loud with a saloon right underneath, but the host does provide earplugs for you. It’s also a little bit tricky to unload and load your luggage back up, so just be aware that it might take you few trips around the block. There was construction right out front during our stay, so I’m sure that had something to do with it.

SUPER CENTRAL, SAFE
Absolutely central location in a pedestrian area right in the heart of the Bernese Upper Old Town. Bern main train station, various restaurants, the multiple shopping opportunities, cinemas, and the entire Bernese nightlife wait right at your doorstep in just 1 to 3 minutes walking distance. The most famous sights, including the Swiss fereral parliament, the clocktower 'Zytglogge' or the Bernese Münster (cathedral) are also only 1 to 3 minutes away. And even down to the quiescence of the river Aare or to the Bernese Botanical Garden it is only a 5 minute walk.
SHOPPING
Your apartment is situated right in the middle of Bern's most important shopping area. Also, there are various supermarkets (Migros, Coop, Denner, Lidl, Aldi) in only 1 to 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Due to the close proximity of the main train station, you can do your groceries daily (even on sundays) even as late as until 11pm.
PARKING – close and convenient:
+ several public car parks in 1-5 min walking distance, at hourly and daily rates. Closest are “Metro parking” (2 min walk, CHF 40 per 24hrs), “Bahnhof Parking” main train station (4 min walk, CHF 39 per 24hrs, CHF 24 from second day), “Rathaus Parking” (8 min walk, CHF 30 per 24hrs), and “Casino Parking” (8min walk, CHF 28 per 24hrs, cheapest option in the Old Town).
PARKING – budget:
+ on the roadside in the “Blue Zones” (painted on the pavement, blue only, not yellow, not white), available only in the city quarters surrounding the Old Town. Parking tickets for the blue zones available at the ticket machines of the bus-/tram stops (CHF 9 per 4hrs, CHF 16 per 24hrs). At night from 7pm to 8am and on Sundays/public holidays parking in the blue zones is for free. Other than that, there is no free parking anywhere in Bern. Closest “Blue zones”: A) Monbijou city quarter (15-20 min walk), search around streets Gutenbergstrasse, Kappellenstrasse, Haslerstrasse; Ticket machine tram stop Bern Monbijou or Haslerstrasse. B) street Aargauerstalden (20 min walk), Ticket machine stop Bern Bärenpark.
+ Car park "Park and Ride" (P&R) in Bern Neufeld outside of the city center, when leaving highway #1 at "Bern Neufeld" at CHF 18 per 24hrs. From there, take bus 11 to Bern main train station (13 min transfer) or walk 30 min. Tickets for the bus transfer are included in the parking fee.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Location: 3 min walk from Bern main train station, or about 400 meters (6 minutes) from your seat in the train to the apartment door (only if you follow my directions instead of an online map).
BUSTERMINAL BERN NEUFELD
Take bus 11 or one of the busses 102 to 106 to Bern main train station (“Hauptbahnhof”). 13 min travel time by bus, 30 min walk.
