This neighborhood is super interesting in it's history and the lovely people who spend their time either full-time or winter months. The different lots around the neighborhood are similar in size, however have the flexibility to allow for RVers, mobile homes / tiny homes, or stick built larger homes... all right next to each other. Very different than "campgrounds vs. mobile home parks vs. housing developments". We hope you enjoy our community as much as we do. If you visit us in the later spring, summer or early fall months you might be one of a handful of full-time locals on the block!
Per Wikipedia: "Development of the area began in the 1960s, when local developer Hank Schechert purchased 3,000 acres east of Yuma. Fortuna Foothills serves as a bedroom community for Yuma, the Yuma Proving Grounds and Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. Fortuna Foothills is also an area with a large amount of seasonal residents."

Parking is easy! Folks will be biking or driving their vehicles which could mean: car, truck, golf-cart, RV, off-road or ATVs, etc. Just about anything goes on these wide and well-kept streets.
