We had read reviews ahead of time & adjusted expectations for this home. We didn't expect ultra luxury. But we also didn't expect to lose the master bedroom wing to a nonfunctional AC unit. We didn't know the AC is bedroom-units-only and has to run all day/night to hope to keep up & relies on strategically placed fans to push the air to the common areas. It was not terribly effective & very noisy. The host was kind, but the house wasn't ready until almost 5pm. Even then the cleaning crew didn't leave the house feeling clean. They'd opened all the doors to "air it out" & the result was a hot house overrun w/black flies for days. I thought long and hard about what to say in a review. I wish Peter and his family all success. But the whole house interior is tired & in disrepair, while the exterior of the house/ gardens are gorgeous & pristine! 🤔 The house has MILLION dollar, absolutely stunning 270-degree water views. But for this nightly rate we expected comfortable quarters too.

Literally just left Las Breezes Villa. At the airport now, writing this review. Peter was a gracious host giving my family (which arrived earlier than myself) a full walkthrough of the villa and making them feel at home. We were a family of eight that thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was more than enough room for all of us. My mom had her own room. And my niece was overjoyed to have her own space (the sunroom in the master). The kitchen was huge with everything you could possibly need to prepare your meals. There were more than enough quality linens (towels - bathroom and beach, sheets, etc.). Plenty of seating to enjoy hanging out as a family. The rooms are much cooler (A/C units) than open air spaces (oscillating fans). The wrap around deck was large where you could enjoy picturesque views of both sunrise and sunset. The location is super private and peaceful. You will definitely feel safe. We have no reason not to return for another stay.

Las Breezes is a beautiful large home near a beach in Hooper’s Bay. The home is located deep within the owners property and sits high above which gives 270 degree views of the ocean. The home was clean and easily fit our group of 10. If you’re looking for something modern or fancy, this is not the place. However the home “feels” like a beach home that has been around for decades. If you want to complain about the minutiae then please don’t come here. The host, Peter, became like family to us. He took us on 3 days of boat adventures (paid separately) to all of the most breathtaking places in the Exumas. He was extremely kind and even joined us for dinner and drinks. The wrap around porch was perfect to catch the sunrise and sunset each day. The kitchen and living spaces were large and were comfortable for all. We will definitely be back!

Peter house is very clean and very private. We love the walk to the private beach. The location of the house is perfect very close to grocery store and to all beautiful beaches. Peter also have a private boat tour to all different islands. Thank you so much we love to come back and stay at the house again.
