I booked this place for a group of 8 girls for a 50th birthday party. Overall we were very satisfied. The main reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was because the water was quite weedy, the trampoline which was shown in the photos was unusable due to extensive bird droppings and no means to properly clean it, and we found some food and napkins laying around the place. For the money I would not expect those things. But the place was very nice, great sleeping accommodations and Jade was nice to deal with. I would have chosen 4.5 if it existed. We had a great stay! What a beautiful spot. The home is beautiful, clean and very well-stocked. We spent a long weekend paddleboarding, swimming from the dock and trampoline and sitting by the fire pit. The yard is large and perfect for our family and our pets, with lots of different sitting areas to spread out. The water frontage is off the main river channel so boat traffic was light - perfect for water activities. We wish we'd have stayed longer!

we enjoyed our stay at Jade's cottage. the space is well kept, fully stocked, and perfectly located for our needs. Our kids enjoyed the trampoline, and visits from the local ducks, geese, and golden retriever. The fire pit is beautiful, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. we enjoyed the floating dock, the kayaks, and the available toys and games. the one small issue was that the Airbnb listing was not updated and did not accurately list all available amenities such as coffee maker, washing detergent and some other items. We were not sure beforehand if we needed to bring those items and Jade was slightly slow to respond to our queries about them. of course, once we arrived and saw everything there, we were very happy and satisfied with our stay. I hope she can update her listing to be clear about what is available. Also, there is a slight contradiction about whether pets are welcome. I would strongly recommend this cottage to anyone! the cottage was beautify, even better than the pictures shown on the listing. it was comfortable, clean and had an awesome view of the lake.

We came up for the Canada Day long weekend and we had such a great time. The cottage was in such a fantastic location and was so peaceful. We really enjoyed the views from the deck / dock, appreciated how kind, helpful, and accommodating the host (Jade) was, and the many activities we were able to do.
