A super place to stay - quiet and nicely tucked away, yet within walking distance of a wide range of local amenities, and beautifully placed to explore coast and countryside. Perhaps the biggest asset that Chelle Cottage has is its spaciousness. As a couple who regularly stay at AirBnB properties we often find ourselves squeezed into tiny spaces and long for places that don’t involve us bumping into one another. No danger of that with Chelle Cottage - all rooms are extremely roomy, even down to the bathroom. Add in the wide range of amenities, its spotlessness and the feline charms of Charles the cat, and Chelle Cottage is a place we feel certain we’ll return to. As to specifics, the Horseshoe Inn is a cheery local 2 minutes away and I would also recommend eating at The Piebald Inn with its pie themed menu. And RSPB Bempton Cliffs - the magic of seabirds dancing on the wind just yards away from you will live long in the menu.

Chelle Cottage is a lovely warm, comfortable and beautifully presented cottage. It was spotlessly clean and provides everything you could possibly want. The cottage is in a fantastic peaceful location within easy walking distance of village amenities and we enjoyed a superb couple of days. Michelle is a perfect host who was really friendly and helpful throughout. This was our first first visit to Chelle Cottage , but we definitely intend to return. Thank you Michelle!
This is the second time we have visited and we loved the cottage and area just as much as last time. The cottage is in a great location within walking distance of the pubs and shops. It is really well presented and cosy even when it blowing a gale outside. It also has lots of space and places to store things. Michelle is very helpful when messaging and is always prompt to do so. A great place and I am sure we will return, thanks for letting us stay.
