We had an amazing time here. Very peaceful and close to the beach. 15 minute walk to the boat to Tamarindo. AC worked well and the bbq was a nice addition.

We’re beyond happy with our stay at Casa Mehiti. The host, Jean, was very friendly and kind. He cares about the environment and his place is very uniquely build in a jungle like setting with gorgeous landscape. The very first day we spottet monkeys outside! The A/C and pool were wonderful to get back to after a hot day on the beach. The beach waves can be heard from the bungalow and excellent surfing is just a few steps away. There is a great selection of restaurants, bars, and grocery shopping nearby. We can’t wait to come back to playa Grande, but in particular to Casa Mehiti.

Das Grundstück von Jean war sehr schön, der Pool und auch die „Bungalows“ waren sehr schön. Jean war immer sehr nett und konnte und konnte Fragen schnell beantworten. Die Lage ist leider sehr schlecht. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder viel Restaurants in der Nähe. Auf Tamarindo hat man mit dem Auto 40 Minuten und über den Strand etwa gleich lange, plus muss man mit einem Boot über den Fluss gehen was auch etwas kostet und über den Strand nach Tamarindo zu gehen ist in dieser Hitze von 35 Grad sehr anstrengend. Das einzig positive an der Lage ist der Strand. Nichtmal 5 Minuten zum Playa Grande und der Strand ist nicht voller Touris.

My husband and I had the most magical 6 days staying in Casa Mehiti's bungalo!! Jean really looked after us the entire time, and is such a gem of a human being. He has really created a stunningly gorgeous oasis where you feel at peace instantly. Each day we'd walk the 5 minutes to the ocean in the morning, grab a bite to eat, and then spend hours lounging by the private pool underneath the shades of the expansive and mature palm trees that Jean thoughtfully planted around the property. We could not have asked for a better experience. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Our cabana at Casa Mehiti was a Costa Rican oasis! The landscape and vegetation made the grounds very private and peaceful. The pool was always refreshing after a hot day! We enjoyed many conservations with Jean over our stay. He was kind and attentive to us. The hospitality was much appreciated!
