DO NOT STAY HERE. The fact that this house is listed for rent is unfathomable to me. For starters it smells like pet urine. The carpets are absolutely filthy and disgusting. The master shower is dirty and filled with mildew and grime and the vent is filthy. The comforters have stains on them, the master bed had hair in it when we took it down the first night. The patio furniture is disintegrating. The closet shelves are damaged. There are no furnishings in the bedrooms. The counters are stained, the ceiling and walls are stained and have holes (Master bathroom) in them. The kitchen has a light bulb dangling from the ceiling. The kitchen table is stained. And worst of all no one at Vacasa took any responsibility for the problems. It was just one random customer service person after another telling me the “local manager” is going to call and discuss. They never called. In the end they gave us $250 refund which wasn't even close to covering the issues we dealt with while staying there.

I believe we overpaid considering there were exposed wires from a light fixture from the ceiling, exposed water pipes on the ceiling of the kitchen, the furniture was very old and dirty with a very strange odor to them as well, only one bedroom had ac the other 3 bedrooms did not, there was old belongings from previous guests leading us to believe that the space was not cleaned well at all, there were very gross stains on the carpets that looked like you wouldn’t want to walk on them with bare feet, there were small orange bugs(probably small cockroaches) coming out of the bottom of the vanity in the master bedroom. The location was great and the area is absolutely beautiful so we still had blast on this vacation.

On a very nice and quiet street. A little less than a mile to Bar Harbor so it was very easy to walk to and from the town. Very easy to access Acadia. Very large and spacious. Very clean as well! Overall a great place to stay and experience Bar Harbor and Acadia.

This is a fantastic rental unit. Very spacious, clean, and not cluttered with unnecessary decor. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable. It is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood only a few minutes drive from both Acadia and Bar Harbor.
