Cabin is private in the country but located 6 miles from the town of Dardanelle, 42 miles to Mount Magazine State Park, 5 miles from Nebo State Park and 28 miles to Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas River and Lake Dardanelle. Closest boat dock is about 3 miles. Mount Nebo has hiking and Mountain Bike Trails, Magazine and Petit Jean Mountains has miles of hiking trails. Our cabin is private but not remote! Our cabin we believe is cozy with all a couple or small family would need for vacation or quick weekend trip. We have tried to think of everything a person may need. We leave snacks, water, coffee pods, coffee creamer and smore making materials! We have all the basics for cooking like seasoning, oils, flour, sugar, cooking spray. The kitchen is fully stocked utensils and pans with most anything you need to cook a meal. We try to keep the basic condiments needed. We stock band aids, Off spray, basic first aid supplies (hopefully never needed). There is a washer and dryer with all supplies needed. Outdoors we have a firepit and plenty of wood ready to use. There is even Firestarter material to make starting pit easier. The grill is ready to go with a full bottle of fuel. We have a corn feeder for the deer and squirrels which feeds twice a day. We also keep a container of corn for guest to feed in between if desired.

We loved our stay at the Cabin in the Woods! We stayed for a week and it was the perfect location for all of the places we wanted to see Mt. Nebo, Mt. Magazine, Holla Bend Wildlife Refuge, and our new favorite place Petit Jean! No one should miss this beautiful park! For the location of the cabin, everything was within 15-40 minutes. This allowed us to get up early, come back to the cabin for lunch and rest, and then go back out in the evening. The cabin had everything we needed and more! So many thoughtful amenities- a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. This place was spotless. You can tell they take pride in their property and they should because it is a beautiful setting. We loved the corn feeder, we had a nice place to walk the dogs, and we felt safe and cozy in this location. It is one street away from a gorgeous lake nestled in pine trees. It was so peaceful. We will definitely be back again is they will have us plus Tucker and Elmer the 10 and 12 pound traveling doggies!

The Cabin in the Woods was a great place to stay. Very easy to find, and close to Mt Nebo and not far from Russellville. We loved the place, I think it’s one of the better airbnbs that I’ve stayed at. It had everything that we needed and more.
