Nice place, but not walkable to anything of note. Easy to grab a taxi or cab to Moshi town though. The house was super well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, but also very small for two people. Either way good value for money! Lots of beautiful birds on the grounds. Kennedy was very helpful and the staff are all very sweet and friendly.

The place has two air conditioners and two fans, but nothing seemed to make the sleeping area upstairs bearable. Although, they did tell us there were a few faults (that we had complained about) that they were fixing during closure after we left. Maybe this was part of it. I wouldn’t book this place if you’re uneasy on stairs. The stairs to get to the bed are floating stairs and very narrow. It was absolutely fine for us, but wouldn’t be for everyone. Staff were absolutely lovely!

Overall the stay was really nice. Frimin and Agnes on site tried very hard to make you feel comfortable. The interior could be renovated a bit (window rattles, kitchen utensils are partly missing). But all in all it’s very cozy. Unfortunately, the breakfast was a bit uninspiring, always just toast and eggs - not good for longer stays. Another problem is that you can't go anywhere to eat or drink as the accommodation is very far away from the city. For me, apart from the negative aspects, it was still suitable for good days after my mountain climb. The pool is definitely a great thing. The garden is also beautiful, especially for resting at the end of the day or in the morning while drinking a coffee. All in all I can recommend the place!

Overall, we enjoyed our one-night stay at Frimin’s place. The service was great. Agnes was helpful with anything we needed. Unfortunately, the location did not match the location in the Airbnb listing. Since we were staying only one-night on our way to Dar es Salaam, we were looking forward to a stay in Moshi town, to get some groceries and go out for dinner. Frimin’s place is, however, 10km outside of town with no supermarkets, restaurants around. We were entirely reliant on Agnes to order food for us. The accomodation was comfortable. However, we were told there are nation wide power cuts and hence there was no electricity when we arrived. We were told there is a generator but it does not suffice to keep the AC and light fixtures running so we had no electricity until around 7pm in the evening.
