We were up as a family of four adults for a funeral. We had a long drive from Dorset, Sam couldn't do enough to help us and settle us in. Northern hospitality at its best. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will stay again. Great rooms, lovely bath, food great too… both breakfasts and dinner.

Perfect place for an overnight stay. Room clean and cosy. Food in pub restaurant downstairs very good. Hostess also very helpful. I’d recommend.

ideal stopover for a trip to Scotland. Nice clean and tidy room. lovely food in restaurant. very friendly staff. would use again and recommend.

We stayed here for one night and they offered everything that we needed. There was a cool sensor light on the bathroom mirror that gives bright illumination. The room however was very warm even with the windows open. Overall, very good value.
