Our family of four fit very comfortably in the home. It was a great location to walk (~30 minutes) to the tourist locations. The community is very quiet & safe. The outdoor patio and fire table is the perfect place to relax. The home is very beautiful and spacious.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at ‘The Shirley’- the home itself is new and absolutely spotless, and an incredible display of mid century modern design. From the beautiful artwork and thoughtfully curated furnishings to the tasteful implementation of the trendy black/white/gold motif, our stay here was very inspirational! While it felt like living inside a design magazine, the home was also very functional. Sure, the appliances sometimes seemed like brain teasers, but they sure looked sleek! While our 4-year and 9-month year old had a fantastic time, I would only bring the most calm and well-behaved children to this home- the white walls, furniture, and carpet would not well well for many kids this age. The location was perfect- lots of retail less than 5 minutes away, and a 30-minute walk to the harbor front- we often enjoyed taking a slight detour through the Halifax gardens.

Had a relaxing stay at your lovely townhouse. The mid century modern decor and luxury bedding was so tastefully done. The Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. And the location was perfect to see and get around Halifax. Looking forward to booking again.
