A perfect stay! We stayed here for a short break in St Ives and it was just perfect. The room was immaculately clean, it was decorated so lovely and was in such a great location! The harbour and shops were right around the corner and it was right in the heart of St Ives. It was so handy to be able to pop back quickly whenever we needed to. Emma was lovely and her accommodation really made our trip. In the absence of a kitchen is a kettle and tea station and also a mini fridge which was so handy, a washing up bowl and liquid were provided too along with plates and bowls. There was also a lovely packet of biscuits on arrival which was a well appreciated gift after a few hours of travelling! We loved our stay here and will definitely book again in the future 😊

Emma's place is a hidden gem. The room was perfect for our 2 night stay and provided an outstanding base for us to get out and explore the town whilst being tucked away enough to void the crowd. We found the room access very private. Inside, whilst simple and uncluttered, there are some features that have been finished with love and care and make the room so stylish. The room was warm, the bed was really comfortable, and the shower was powerful. The room had a fantastic smell, including in the bathroom. Lovely personal touches, including the fresh flowers topped off Emma's presentation. Great stay, thank you, Emma.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Old Workshop over new year. The room was incredibly stylish and spacious but also so practical. Emma had thought of so many little touches that really added to the comfort of the room. The bed was really comfortable and the shower fantastic. Emma communicated well with us and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

What a lovely place - everything has been done to a very high standard and felt really luxurious. There were some really nice touches, like the stained glass above the bathroom door, the beautifully painted skirting boards, and wooden window seats. Be sure to note that there is not a full kitchen at this property, but there is a bar cart outfitted with a kettle, plates and glassware as well as a mini fridge. The location is fantastic - close to the front. There are lovely restaurants and bars in the area - Beer & Bird & Talay Thai Kitchen are both highly recommended. If you're looking for tasty baked goods, the cakes at Makers are really nice and St Ives Bakery is lush as well. If you like Rum, be sure to try the local St Ives Island Rum. Because of the nearby pub & church bells in combination with the uncomfortable bed & hot room, we found sleep challenging here, but noise issues, bed comfort & temperature issues are all subjective and not the fault of the host.
