Although the apartment was above a row of shops this was not an issue at all. There was no noise or inconvenience from the location. It was quite close to a road but there was very little traffic, so wasn't a problem at all, even for those of us who live in a quiet rural area. We all found the taps hugely confusing as they were the wrong way around and we kept turning on the cold instead of the hot, and vice versa! The wet room on the top floor was very slippery when wet, and the water from the shower went a very long way into the room. I'd suggest a shower screen to limit this. None of us slept well, the beds were not very comfortable, and the synthetic duvets, pillows, and bedding were extremely hot. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc, and we were able to cook a really good meal for seven from it. Everything was very clean, and the décor was quite stylish. The rooms were quite large, and having two bathrooms was a real bonus.

Excellent location, easy to walk into Dawlish. Useful having shop downstairs.

As described, easily accessible and spacious. Good location - 100m from footpath down cliff to coast path direct into Dawlish centre.
