Cozy place. Went there to go walking. The trail started over the road. Even though it’s right by a road it’s not a busy road so was quiet at night time. We lit the fire at night rather than have the heating on. The place was spotless. Loads of cooking utensils. Jane sent the guide before hand listing local pubs and places of interest which was handy for places to go and ideas for things to do. Nice welcome gift pack too. Overall it’s a great place in an excellent location. If you want to visit the area stop here.

We've just got home from a lovely break at Rill Cottage. The location is at the centre of all the wonderful places we visited (there is something for everyone) . The beautiful location was a haven for birds which we enjoyed feeding and watching. The log burner was a luxury at night and was toasty warm whilst it was storm like outside. Jane was a wonderful host, who made sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back ASAP!

We had a great stay at this cottage. We loved using it as a base to explore the Peak District, and found the location wonderful. The Airbnb had a great welcome pack with lots of local information, and loved the extra touches such as milk, butter and cheese - it felt really special. The property was also really clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our short break at Rill Cottage lovely location and the cottage is really cozy Attention to detail everything you could need is inside (kids cutlery , games etc) . Cottage is spotlessly clean and Jane is always available for any questions and very helpful Would definitely stay again
