I was uncertain if my old self would be able to handle the humidity & heat without air conditioning. It’s a blessing to have a.c. while going through menopause. But it was NEVER a problem. There are windows with screens all around the house & fans in every room so the air flowed freely & breezily. Because of that I can say this was a 100% comfortable place to stay! The mattresses are better than mine at home so I got the best sleep I’ve had in a while, too. The kitchen was well-stocked & the bathroom was clean. I liked that the shower head was removable. And my favorite part was having sliding mirror closet doors. I had several events to attend so it was appreciated that I could check out my outfits from head to toe. AND it had cable TV which was not available in many other places at which I looked. I’d read another review that the people downstairs were loud around the clock. That was not my experience AT ALL during the full week I was there. I give this one, May & Kolton an A+!

We loved May’s house! This is our 3rd time staying here and we loved it! So convenient, close to town and airport. May and Kholten are very helpful and friendly! Always responding so quickly! Definitely recommend this home for your Hilo stay!

I was in Hilo a few days for business. Location was great. Good proximity to restaurants, shops, and airport. Very clean and spacious. Mahalo!

Our upstairs stay was much quieter than our downstairs stay. Otherwise the units are basically identical. Comfortable and clean beddings and towels. Convenient location, and responsive hosts.
