The steps were crazily dangerous, covered in ice and snow, there was an unwashed smell in the house as we entered and there was trash in our bin in our room. We arrived after a storm and Dan did not get home to clean until 7, which he explained to us, so this might have been an exception, but it was an unfortunate experience. The front steps were lethal, like an ice rink, so so dangerous. Milk in the fridge would have been nice, but given our arrival was at the tail end of a storm, i can over look niceties! Bed was comfortable. Dan is a great guy.

The house is a good value for all the amenities provided. Very clean and spacious. The location is peaceful and quiet, with excellent hiking nearby. Also close to other outdoor activities. Dan is a wonderful host, helpful and friendly.

Dans place is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful imo. Very well done and beautiful wood everywhere. It’s in a gorgeous area surrounded by water and mountains. I was lucky to get to see the area while it was all covered in snow which I really enjoyed. I had a stressful day working and dealing with a very irresponsible host on another reservation leaving me high and dry and spinning to find another place super late in the day and Dan was more than willing to rush to make the bed and prepare the room, and when I expressed that I had a rough day he even really went out of his way to check and see if there was any way he could help! Very professional and sincere. And it meant a lot to me after the days extra excitement. Highly recommend Dan as a host and the set up there is perfect.

Place was easy to find, check in was flexible. Dan was always super responsive and proactive. He really takes care of the guests. Really cozy house and a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

My time was relaxing and the place was just as it was advertised…. Dan was very welcoming and enjoyed great conversation…. I do plan to visit again…
