The house runs over three floors, accessed by a beautiful pitch pine spiral staircase, with lots of space for all. There are sea views from many of the rooms and especially from the very large sitting room with dining area on the ground floor. Outside a large garden surrounds the house with places to sit and enjoy the views, or in more seclusion. There are areas of lawn front and back, trees and paths into wilder areas, over an acre of accessible garden space. Loch Sween House / Dun a Bhuilg is a dramatic and lovely grade II listed house, in very many aspects as it was built in the Arts and Crafts style in 1927, with the addition of modern benefits including (electricity!) , central heating, satellite TV and broadband (provided via wireless router the local 4G mast) and all the necessaries for a comfortable stay.
