A light and spacious apartment situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Pointe Au Sel which is on the east coast of Mahe island.

We felt much welcomed by Jeff's son Matthew, he offered fresh coconut water, fruits from the garden, and even a mango salad done by his aunt! So sweet of him, we felt truly pampered ;) The house is spacious, comfortable and very clean. Regarding the surroundings, there was not much to do at a walking distance so we quickly decided to rent a car for the rest of our stay, and Matthew also helped us on this. We could even arrange the car to be delivered at our doorstep. Very pleasant stay overall, we do recommend this place to stay in Mahé, although we do advise people to have a car from day one.

There is a local supermarket within a short walk of Songbird Villa where an ATM service is also available. Crown Beach hotel is within the same proximity and has a restaurant which is open to the public.
For those seeking to relax and enjoy some snorkelling and sunbathing, the beach at Pointe Au Sel is a mere three minutes walk from Songbird Villa.
Anse Royale is another small village close to Pointe Au Sel and is about three minutes drive from the villa. It is a very popular location with tourists and also a great spot for swimming and snorkelling activities. Guests can have access to banks, ATMs, and more restaurants at Anse Royale.
Seychelles International Airport is 7 km away and the capital of Victoria is 15 km away.
There are bus stops within walking distance of Songbird Villa for those choosing to explore the island by public transport although car hire services can also be arranged on request by management.
