自我介绍

Architect, urbanist, photographer and author. I like to travel alone. I love maps. I love to walk. I like trains. I love to observe people in urban places. I like to get out early to photograph Architecture before the crowds. I like both the historic monuments and especially the contemporary interventions. I will visit all the contemporary art museums I can find. I don't go out much at night-too tired from my excursions. I wear hearing aids so noise does not bother me-I can turn them off. I recently spent a month in Rome and central Italy, Tuscany, Emilio Romagna and les Marches. I visited Shanghai and Beijing in 2013. In 2012 I toured a number of cities of northern Europe and Scandinavia. I have led student tours and study abroad programs in Paris, Lyon, Barcelona, Berlin, Vienna and Amsterdam. I love my spouse Aryn and her dog Kansai. I need coffee. The joy of living is in learning.
