Peter and his plantation - this I what Airbnb is made for! Peter is a wonderful soul, staying with him, he will open his home and heart to you. He spoiled us all the way. Staring with a lovely jam session, breakfasts pancakes, a wonderful pizza night including the uno sessions!- and lastly even the movie truck! Everything he does is thoughtful, so is the structure of the plantation. Every cabin brings a story and lots of thoughts! You can truly feel the love, creativity and talent in this place! Not to forget the ‘island safari’ that you get here for free with all the wonderful creatures living with you. If you love nature and appreciate wild guests around you, this is your secret escape!

Difficult to add something that hasn’t already been written about Peter and Oughterson. Peter is a dream host - really above and beyond. Everything was exactly as described, which exceeded expectations. He made my family feel very welcome and creates a great sense of community. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Such a special and magical place! Our boys loved feeding the monkeys every morning, catching lizards, and playing wag ball with the dogs! Peter is such a sweet and gracious host. He made our family dinner our first night which was such a treat. We also really enjoyed chatting with him. We absolutely loved the wood fired pizza night with all the guests from various different countries, jam night, and the movie night under the stars! Peter even offered to have his friend Sherwin come and teach my son drumming lessons before jam night. Sherwin was so sweet and great with my youngest who is now obsessed with playing drums! He immediately came home and made cardboard drum set he has played with daily and put a drum set on his birthday wish list. Truly a life changing experience and vacation!

This is my third time staying with Peter... the location and experience still continues to exceed expectations... Everything matches the description, it is truly an experience worth undertaking.. It is not for those looking for luxury or fast pace or busy busy but the tranquility and sense of community that occurs is second to none... We will be back..
