This is one of my favorite Airbnb experiences! Julie was fantastic and the home had great little touches that anticipated traveler's needs. Snacks, coffee, teas, as well has cold, filtered water in the 'fridge and ice in the freezer for drinks made us feel right at home. Very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, towels were soft, hot water pressure was good . . . . The historic home is thoughtfully decorated and in a beautiful, well-kept neighborhood. I loved that there was a booklet of a self-guided walking tour of the area provided for guests because this area of town has so much historical architecture to view if you're into that kind of thing (and I am). To be honest, I'm going to be a bit disappointed if I don't have a reason to come back and stay with these hosts because it was that great! And they're not lying when they mention steep stairs. My gosh, the servants of the house must have had the world's tiniest feet to navigate the back servant stairs!

The upstairs apartment was very neat and clean. The back stairs was very steep, but the front stairway was very easy to navigate. We appreciated that the host was very accommodating.
