自我介绍

I'm Lee Knapp, a veteran ceramic artist, entrepreneur ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) and newly retired history and epistemology teacher at my old public high school where I graduated when Gerry Ford was the non-elected American president. I've published a book, written a screenplay, and am currently working on another book, but the best thing I've produced are my three grown sons, now in Portland, Oregon, New York, and DC. All of us are alumni of the College of William and Mary. Airbnb is just another iteration of home accommodations that became popular in the early 20th century, the tourist home. My grandmother ran one, along with a boarding house in her 10-bedroom North Carolina home for decades. Hers was called the Norlina Tourist Home. It is with much tradition that I call my place the Three Notches Tourist Home named for an old trail around these parts, as well as the three notches in my life. I hope folks can come to slow down and breathe in a little fresh air. The view isn't too bad, either.
