We truly had a wonderful family getaway at this place. We came for Easter weekend and enjoyed our children, the lake and the beautiful outdoors. I just had surgery and wanted to be somewhere away from home in peaceful nature relaxing where the kids could fish and run around. The home was very clean and plenty of room for us 4. My husband and the kids absolutely enjoyed the kayak and canoe. They fished literally all 2.5 days. They caught 34 bass in total. The kids also swam in the lake on a 76 degree day and really enjoyed it. Remember you’re in the woods, there will be bugs and the mosquitos so take bug spray and always close the door behind you. The grill was clean to cook on. The beds were very comfortable. Communication was amazing and check in was easy. Coffee is provided and a few spices. Be sure to take your own condiments.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a couple of days for some peace and serenity. It didn’t disappoint. He fished off the pier while I read my book. It was quiet and peaceful. The view was beautiful. Thank you for a great stay!

Very quiet and peaceful little house. Everything was as described. Fishing was easy with a dock right outside. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening after grilling steaks. It reminded us of the movie On Golden Pond. Our Lab enjoyed swimming in it. If I could have gotten the fish to bite….

This small cabin definitely beat my expectations the hosts were super responsive and there was much to do, even thought my mtema and I were there for work we took advantage and relaxed a bit. Surpassing expectations doesn’t begin to describe this booking we wanted to extend but sadly was already booked
