We had a pleasant stay. Pulling up left me a little concern as I’m a girl from a big city suburbs, but it wasn’t bad. It’s quiet and inside was clean and decorated lovely. Could use a little updating especially in the bathroom, but overall it was fine. Can’t beat the price and the location was close to everything we needed.
Rex place was great for our quick trip to pineville. Clear instructions and pictures are just as the place looks. Would stay again if I come back that way!

Rex's advertised price did not include the complete occupancy. Place sleeps 6. Originally, I had 2, then went to 4 occupants. This was an increased price. If I'm renting a whole home, I expect the price to reflect the maximum occupancy. As soon as I arrived, a man, not the pictured Rex, and with no notification from Rex, showed up to mess with the thermostat. He said he was fixing it. It did work. However, if I was alone, I would have left and demanded a refund. Pictures accurately show an older home, but there were too many things that need fixing to warrant the price paid. It was clean, but the tub and sink need to be replaced or refinished. The couch was extremely comfortable, but the yellow chairs are showing a bit of wear n tear. There were 3 TVs but only 1 remote that did operate them all. Overall clean but overpriced.
Comfy beds for our family. We had to travel unexpectedly with our infant and two dogs. This place provided a nice “home base” for our week-long travel.

This gem is located in the old part of the town; you might find some interesting-looking houses along the street, which is part of the neighborhood's charm, but rest assured it's a safe locale. It's a top pick for guests when it comes to extended stays, and even for short-term stays! Overall, our properties already rendered 1100+ delightful nights to over 340 guests (and counting!). Oh! Did I forgot to tell you that we have an awesome security system?
It's very close to the Main street in Pineville. This means you are close to businesses and food. You also will be less than 5 mins from Rapides Regional Medical Center, and about 10 mins from Cabrini Hospital.
It is very close to the bus route. Otherwise, you will need a car to get around; Personal or Rental/Ride share (Über).
