Perfect house for a family! We absolutely adored this place, which is located just enough out of town to have a rural feel, but close enough to grocery stores, restaurants, and convenience stores. The house is spacious and very livable, with everything you would need to stay for quite a while, including a fully stocked kitchen. We loved the traditional Japanese styling of the bedrooms. There isn't a traditional living room, so in the evening after dinner we would either sit around the dining room table or lay down on the beds. The location in Aso is great for day trips to see waterfalls or other nearby attractions. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to the region, which we actually intend to do!

It’s a very lovely and quiet place to enjoy the Japanese country life. Keisuke is very helpful and provide many useful informations. And cat from neighbour would come to greet us when arrive and before leaving. So interesting

Great stay! The house was clean and as described. You will need a car to get around the area. The tatami rooms are great places to hang out in the morning sun.
