Cannot say enough good things about Brian’s place and his hospitality. This is truly a Zen retreat. This is the 3rd time my family and I have stayed here. Everything from the beautiful and peaceful neighborhood to the extraordinary outdoor deck, hot tub and fire pit space to the eastern / surfing-inspired decor and unique character of each and every room make this a home away from home place to relax and recharge. You will feel very lucky to have found such a place and fortunate that Brian (who is an absolutely fantastic host) is sharing it with you. For as long as Brian makes this fantastic place available, we will keep going back!

Brian's house was the perfect little getaway from Brooklyn for a long weekend. He offered early check-in and was super responsive when there was a problem with the oven. Relaxing, peaceful and we can't wait to go back!

House was charming. We looked at similar priced hotels and they dont even come close to this place. Our 3 young kids had plenty of space to run around and lots of interesting stuff to interact with in the house. I highly recommend staying here.

For anyone wanting an escape from nyc, this is the spot you want to go. The location is perfect, minutes from the beach, minutes to hiking, and plenty of amazing spots to go out to eat. The house itself is amazing, with comfortable living room, a jacuzzi, and great backyard. And Brian is an amazing host, proactive with messaging, and set everything up for us perfectly (really made my wife’s birthday). If you are considering a house in the area and this one is open, you should definitely reserve it.
