I couldn't have asked for a better base camp for my 2-month West coast adventure. This cute little cabin includes all the essentials for everyday life. Fully stocked kitchen, desk for working, washer and dryer, comfy bed and cozy linens plus a little sitting area outside. It's conveniently located a few minutes from the highway in either direction so working between Victoria and Nanaimo was easy. Sharon was welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. The town of Chemainus has a lot including restaurants and shops. Ladysmith is an adorable town with great restaurant choices....and I can't forget Owl's Nest Cafe which is just a few driveways away. I recommend Urban Legends if you're looking for any spa treatments and the ferry to Salt Spring is 10 minutes away if you're looking for a day trip. All in all this is a perfect spot for adventuring on the island and the cabin is immaculately clean and has just enough hominess for comfort.

Clean home with all the necessary amenities and peaceful surroundings. Sharon and Paul were friendly hosts and responded quickly to messages.

We enjoyed our two months stay at Sharon's peaceful cottage quite much. Beautiful nature around yet a short drive to town. Sharon and her husband are great nice host that we have no hesitation to refer their place.
