We had a great time at Maggie’s place. The house is equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The surroundings, the hills and San Giustino are close and nice, but the property itself is also the best place for a hangout. I can definitely recommend this place for a holiday in Tuscany.
Bel ancien moulin bien équipé et très agréable à vivre, mais situé dans un virage, ce qui complique le stationnement des voitures. L'échange à distance avec Maggie a été très facile. Elle nous avait envoyé un document complet avec toutes les informations nécessaires, et a répondu très rapidement et cordialement à nos questions et remarques.
We spent a week here with our family of 7. We love to walk and be outdoors so it was perfect for us. It is a mile from town, each way, and we looked forward to our walk to town each day. The house was SO cool! Lots of character. We loved the 2 kitchens. Maggie has a perfect book filled with lots of recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The town is a very small, sleep type town, so we used the week to rest, cook, and play games. We all loved it.
The Molino is beautiful, very tasteful interior, well equiped - there is even a guitar! The suroundings are lovely, many towns to explore and walks to do. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, and we had a beautiful welcome basket full of delicious local food and wine. For families with small children the place might not be ideal. The house has lots of stairs (one our kids got lost at night trying to find the loo!) and the molino is right by the road - it's a narrow road and there is very little traffic, but, still, it's not the kind of place that you can open the door and have the kids running free outside.
We had a great stay in the beautiful molino. The natural rock pools near the house were perfect to cool down in the summer heat. The two kitchens were equipped with everything we needed. We did not always have connection and the WiFi had some troubles but for us that did not matter. Maggie was very responsive and helpful. We recommend staying here for a relaxing holiday.
