After a busy work week in Auckland, Cindy’s cottage was a welcome respite. Although we only stayed a night, the peace and quiet and surroundings were incredible. The cottage was exactly as described and Cindy’s daughter Tilly was proactive and available if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family with two little kids had a lovely, relaxing time in this beautiful cottage located in a peaceful, rural setting. The animals (especially Henry the Donkey) kept the children well entertained, and the fireplace really gives the place that rustic charm that we were looking for. Lots of kids books and games too. 5 stars and would come again!

We had a lovely stay at Cindy’s place. Beautiful surroundings with exceptionally friendly animals and the cabin is well equipped with anything you might need. We especially appreciated the toasty fire and ample firewood, washing machine and condiments/kitchen supplies. The kids loved being amongst the animals and the games. Thanks for a great stay!

We absolutely loved the Apple House Cottage. What an amazing little place! We loved all the animals and how interactive they were and I know my girls were sad to leave their Henry behind. Fantastic getaway and can’t wait to make a return visit.
