We had a fabulous time at Paolo’s place! It was very peaceful and the perfect retreat for us. It is a very easy train ride to Cinque Terre but felt much calmer than the busy park, especially on the weekend. We enjoyed our time here, watching the views from the large windows and the porch and just relaxing. It is very clean, and well stocked. The garden is absolutely lovely. We loved our stay and would love to return one day!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Paolo, l'appartement est magnifique, tout simple mais d'un confort remarquable. La vue est extraordinaire, et le bruit des vagues a bercé nos nuits. Le logement est d'une propreté incomparable, on se sent donc très bien. Il y a ce qu'il faut en serviettes et peignoir,s ce qui est extrêmement agréable, les lits sont confortables et le linge de lit est très propre. Tout est si bien entretenu et tout est à disposition. Tout fonctionne. C'est un petit paradis. Les extérieurs sont très beaux, la plage juste en bas, le train également. Ce n'est pas si difficile que cela de monter en voiture il y a juste 2 virages en épingle un peu serrés mais sans problème avec une grosse voiture. Bref, nous remercions Paolo pour cette qualité car c'est très rare.

Lovely place. The views are stunning- better than the photos. So comfortable and Paola was an amazing host. Super responsive and helped with any needs. Highly recommend.

Paolo’s place was homey & comfortable. It was clean & as portrayed in the pictures. The views can’t be beat! Paolo was a very responsive, helpful host. He helped us arrange a taxi, answered our questions, & gave recommendations as needed. Bonassola is a tiny town just outside the Cinque Terre. We had a lovely, relaxing time here in the middle of a very busy European trip. It was a welcome reprieve from bustling cities & smelly metros! The town has a lovely beach, which we enjoyed daily, & even at the end of September it was quite warm enough for swimming. There was a street market on the weekend. There’s a little market in town where you can buy essentials, as well as a few streets of eateries & shops. We enjoyed meandering the town, getting gelato or sipping a caffè shakkerato at the seaside restaurant. The walk down to the town from the hillside villa is short but fairly steep. Our party of four, of various ages & fitness levels, was able to manage it.
