Heacham · 整套小木屋 · 2室3床1.0卫 · 可住4人 · Seashells Cabin - close to the beach, free parking
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Stay in the lovely “Seashells” cabin tucked away in Cedar springs park. Located 5 mins walk from the beach, in the village of Heacham- 2 miles to the seaside resort of Hunstanton and the North Norfolk coast. This quiet cosy cabin is a hidden gem close to the sea and 5 mins by car to many shops and local attractions such as Sealife, Pensthorpe, Norfolk Lavender and plenty of wildlife reserves such as RSPB Snettisham, Titchwell and Holme. Enter through the front door into the sitting room open plan area with the kitchen. 2 bedrooms are off to the right and bathroom is straight ahead. A double bed in one room and bunk beds in second bedroom. The bedrooms are small as our cabin is a bit like Glamping or caravaning. Sometimes it can be cold which is why the cabin is not available during the colder months now. We do provide a heater in every room though and in warmer months it is a fab holiday base. You will be staying in a 60’s style wooden holiday cabin, without the noisy additions of holiday club activities. Instead it is quiet and relaxing and a great base to explore from. You will have comfy beds and electrical appliances while being close to the beach in your camp site - so you can walk, breathe, explore and enjoy the big Norfolk skies and beautiful beaches in the area - have a quiet beach experiences and take a picnic or visit a seaside resort- your choice:) Please note in respect of insurance and fire safety, that only the number of guests from the booking are allowed. Thank you for respecting our holiday let.
A lovely countryside chalet/apartment with lovely decor and good features. Has everything you would need plus some extra games and regional guide and restaurant tips. Local area is very quiet but lots of places are within driving distance. The accommodation does not cater for BBQs so please be prepared for this, though the kitchen is very well equipped. Also no wifi and low level of phone signal but its very much a countryside, middle of nowhere experience. Phone signal was fine in the local area. Additional point my girlfriend said the local church does a lovely Sunday service.
Nice small unit, but unsuitable for winter. We had booked 6 nights in early December but we ended up not even staying one night due to no insulation within the cabin, and insufficient heating provided to cope with the negative and low outside temperatures. With 2 young kids (3 and 1) we were not prepared to try and tough it out. Fortunately we were able to squeeze in with local family instead. The description does mention a "glamping" experience and this does cover the "coziness" side of this small unit (which was fine for us), but should be mentioned that it does not adequately describe the lack of heat at this time of year. Sara was very understanding and quick to respond. I cannot fault her on her support, and willingness to help. Additionally the unit was extremely clean and well presented just like the photos suggested. In warmer weather I'm sure this would be a fantastic little place to stay, it just didn't work out for us on this occasion.
A charming cabin, with fully functioning kitchen, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Set in a nice location, short stroll to the beach and local pub. Perfect place to visit local attractions, Sandringham Estate, Hunstanton, Wells next to sea, Kings Lynn and a variety of RSPB sanctuaries. Fully recommend.
Seashells is a cosy cabin very close to Heacham’s North Beach. Right from the off Sarah’s communications were friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was easy to access and very close to the car park. We found it to be very clean and tidy and, although the October weather was chilly, the two heaters had the place warmed up in a matter of minutes. Very cosy. Our boys loved the bunk beds - particularly the extra snuggly fleece blankets! The main bedroom was really comfortable too. We’d definitely recommend for a getaway to the north Norfolk coast.
Heacham is a large village and has a good bus service to most places. Plenty to do and see in the area and lots of good pubs and restaurants. The village has a Tesco, Lidl and post office. Half an hour by bus to Kings Lynn to join a major train network to Cambridge and London. Change at Ely to Norwich and Manchester.
Good bus access to the rest of the Norfolk coast and train links from London to Kings Lynn. Bus stop is approximately 50 yards from the access to the holiday park. Or you can walk along the promenade to Hunstanton in 25 mins. Tescos express near by and selection of takeaways.
