Great location. Convenient to everything on the North Shore of Boston. Beach is right there but be aware that the beach charges to park year round. I am living in Florida now but lived in Ipswich for years and highly recommend this spot. Just beware if you can’t do a lot of stairs. The sleeping quarters are up a level from the bathroom. Great hosts. Very attentive.

Kathleen's was wonderful! We spent the weekend there for a wedding at Crane Estate (shortly down the road). We were very close to Russell orchard and the beach. There is a lovely shared backyard that our toddler enjoyed running in. There is one set of stairs to the loft and bedroom (separated by a door). The loft bed was very comfortable, but the only thing we didn't love was the bed in the bedroom. It was manageable, but not the comfiest bed we've slept in. We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely time staying in this bright, clean, and spacious home. The location was very convenient for attending a wedding at the Crane Estate, and there were lots of fun and family-friendly activities nearby. We appreciated the easy self check-in and thoughtful amenities.

Kathleen’s place is a perfect clean and tidy apartment with lots of space right in between Crane Beach and Ipswich. So you always need a car either way. Communicating with Kathleen was always prompt, very polite and on purpose. We recommend this place!

Kathleen and Joe are excellent hosts. We had everything we needed and more. Instructions were clear and thorough. The apartment, attached to their house, was new, sparkling clean, bright with a beachy feel, appropriate given their proximity to the beautiful fine sands of Crane Beach only a mile from the front door. We had to clear out of our house so workmen could refinish our floors and needed a place that would take our cats. Kathleen and Joe are pet-friendly, and have welcomed many other pet owners, but despite this, there was no smell or pet hairs or any evidence that ours were not their first four-legged visitors. They clean and wash everything between guests and it shows. The fully furnished modern kitchen had everything we needed and they recommended supermarkets and restaurants in the area. They answered all our questions quickly and proactively dropped off new supplies before we asked for them. We're already planning to return next summer!
