We were beyond thrilled to find friends at Antoine’s! Friendly people, great accommodations, even a pool table and a sweet donkey! What more could you want for a few days in Ireland?
Thank you Gail and Antoine, we had a wonderful time, the surroundings were very beautiful and the hosts were perfect. The house is only 20 minutes from the ferry to Aran Islands, an hour from Galway, and a short distance from other attractions. Highly recommended.
Notre séjour de 4 nuits chez Antoine et Gail s'est très bien passé. Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement (1h de voiture de Galway, 1h du parc national du Connemara), la plage à 150m, la taille du logement très confortable et sa propreté ! Antoine nous a apporté le fruit de sa pêche, nous nous sommes régalés. Nous n'avons pas fait de tour de bateau puisque nous avons un bébé, mais la prochaine fois, sans faute ! Seul et unique petit bémol : l'absence d'une grande baie vitrée dans le salon, le paysage est si beau qu'on aimerait le contempler depuis le canapé ! Nous recommandons cet hébergement !
Una fantastica esperienza! Tony e Gail opiti gentilissimi e disponibili. Appartamento pulito e in ordine La pesca con Antoine , forse la più bella esperienza in Irlanda. Il paese e i dintorni sono deliziosi. Consigliatissimo.
Antoine und Gail sind zwei liebenswerte Gastgeber. Ihre Wohnung ist großzügig ausgestattet, so dass wir selbst die Regenstunden bei einem Billiardspiel genießen konnten. Nicht zu vergessen sind die süße Eseldame und Antoines hervorragende Garnelen.

I am a local man who worked on the buildings in London in my earlier years, I came back home in the 90s with my wife and young family, I now enjoy a more relaxed life, enjoying fishing on my own boat, We have a Galway Hooker Traditional Sailing boat, (as seen in my profile picture) which myself and my sons take part in the local regattas throughout the summer. We also offer fishing trips, we fish for lobster, crab, shrimp and mackerel. My wife Gail and I both enjoy walking, taking our dogs to the beach and we also grow a small vegetable garden, you are welcome to sample our produce. We are located on the trail of 'The Wild Atlantic Way' which extends from North Donegal to South Cork, taking in The Whole of The West Coast of Ireland. There is a Faboulous Golf Coarse less than 10 minutes drive from here with breathtaking scenery, and very reasonable rates! For the Amateur and Professional amongst you. We also have a local gym only 2km from here which also have reasonable rates. There are plenty of local walkways, again with breathtaking scenery. We are also only 20 minutes drive from the harbour where the passenger boats depart for All 3 of The Aran Islands, a must adventure to take during your stay. Arrival time from 4pm (1600h) onwards and Checkout time 11 am.
