Sunny, bright and central - this oceanfront cottage boast 180 degree views on the Minas Basin on Kingsport Beach. Sleeps 2-6, beachfront, hiking, swimming and fishing nearby. The cottage is perched over the beautiful Kingsport Beach and the Minas Basin. Swimming, fishing, kayaking and walking the ocean floor are some of our favourite activities. It is only a 7-minute walk to the beach with a boat launch, fishing site, swimming and a community run ice cream shop and canteen. Down the road, the community has installed a book exchange and Adirondack chairs that overlook the valley. The area caters to the adventurous spirit with views from the lookoff, hikes at Cape Split and Blomidon only a 20-minute drive away. You are only minutes to quiant Canning for coffee shops, groceries, the butcher, liquor and a short drive to the bustling towns of Wolfville and Kentville. We can also serve as a home base for visiting the many beautiful vineyards just down the road! The cottage isn't fancy but it fits like an old glove. Meander through the mudflats of the Annapolis Valley towards the idyllic farming town of Canning. Turn off an old dirt road with a working farm and find yourself in a cozy and familiar cottage with the original cottage panelling and wooden cupboards. Geared towards a family vacation, this cottage is steeped in a simpler time. The cottage is equipped with a large mudroom, full-sized cottage kitchen and open concept living and dining room. The cottage sleeps 6 and is furnished with three bedrooms - all with double beds. A lovely sunroom overlooks a deck perched high above the water with an outdoor dining table and bbq.

Molly's cottage is well equipped, comfortable and set in a beautiful location.
Molly's cottage was so comfy and unique! My partner and I went for an anniversary, and this cottage made everything more special!! We both loved the sunroom and spent our mornings cozied up on the daybed watching the ocean waves and the birds. It felt like coming to stay at a family member's cottage for a weekend. And our hosts were super helpful when a storm warning was issued, which was very kind and thoughtful of them. We're looking forward to staying again, and highly recommend booking! :)
We had a very peaceful weekend at Molly’s cabin. The cabin is very cute and makes you feel right at home. We loved the sunroom and walking on the beach. Very relaxing cottage stay!
Molly’s Cottage was a treat, with everything above expectations. Well equipped, clean and spacious throughout, including the bonus sunporch. Walking for hours on Kingsport beach at low tide was an unforgettable experience. Thank-you, Molly , for being a great Host.
We love renting cottages that have character & history and Molly's cottage certainly has both. Situated on a quiet gravel road, it offers peace & tranquility yet is close to stores, restaurants and activities in nearby Canning, Port William and Wolfville. The wifi & water pressure are fantastic and the kitchen is well equipped. The sunroom is a wonderful spot to relax & read. Communications with Molly were friendly & informative. However, certain areas in the cottage could use updating/replacing (fridge & front screen door) and maintenance (window/door screens with tears or falling out of frame). The garden seems neglected with vines coming up through the deck and the overgrown flower beds need weeding. The interior would benefit from a good clean as well (dusty bedroom fans, pet hair/food crumbs etc inside the fridge, dirty, stained interior of kitchen cabinets). We did enjoy our stay in Kingsport, but I'm sad to say that I wouldn't recommend this cottage in it's present state.
